Wind and Fire

What a wonderful image Luke gives us of what happened in that Upper Room nearly 2000 years ago on The Day of Pentecost.

“1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.”

The image I selected for the Featured Image of this blog is from our Revolution Movement ministry logo. It represents the Wind and Fire of the original Pentecost and how what God did that day could not be contained in the room He did it.

There is Fire!

There are varying intensities in the Fire!

There is movement in the Fire because of the Wind!

There were “about” 120 believers assembled together in one place on that day! The Wind and the Fire on that day propelled those believers into leaving the safe confines of their supposed sanctuary.

It is time for God’s Wind and Fire to propel current Christians into action and be activated into His Majesty’s Public Service!

To “hell” with the danger!

Granted there wasn’t a viral pandemic at that time but the threat to their lives was more real than the threat to our lives right now, at least for those of us in the United States.

I am so thankful the day of Pentecost did not wait for today. The Holy Spirit would have had a hard time finding 120 faithful saints assembled in the same place!

We are facing unparalleled times because of COVID-19. All over the world church services have been stopped and many churches will be shuttered.

In California the governor ordered no singing or chanting and now he has ordered no assembling! Californian Christians are not the only ones in the United States to have been ordered not to assemble.

The United States is the land of the free and the home of the brave. I guess we are no longer as free because we are no longer as brave.

Cities and States are releasing prisoners because of the threat of COVID-19 while Christians are afraid to assemble for fear of being put in jail!

And there does not seem to be any end in sight for “allowing” Christians to meet together in the same place at the same time.

Maybe this is a sign from the Spirit of the living God! You may be asking, “What sign?” The sign the Spirit has shifted “church” from large gatherings to small assemblies. That is the way the church has functioned for a long time in areas of the world where real danger is ever present to the real believer.

Revolution Movement is just the vehicle for the Spirit to implement that shift. We meet with individuals, couples, families and small groups of no more than 12 people.

Did you notice the “we meet”? We have continued to meet in person with those who are local and we will continue to meet with anyone who joins our Movement if they are not living in fear of personal contact and ministry.

For those who are out of our region we can do video call meetings as we have done with those in our Movement who do not live in our region.

We meet for the sole purpose of discipling saints to the Lord Jesus Christ and to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

There are other genuine personal disciplers out there. Pray! Seek God! Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in these tumultuous times to where He wants you to go and get trained in Biblical Christianity.

Three Nails

Jesus, the carpenter by vocation before His river and Spirit baptism, was crucified on a Cross [Paul in Galatians called it a tree, maybe because at one time it had been a tree], is believed to have been secured on that tree by three nails!

The nails did not secure Jesus any more than Pilate had authority on his own to have Him killed.

“So Pilate said to Him, ‘You do not speak to me? Do You not know that I have authority to release You, and I have authority to crucify You?'”

Jesus shot back, “You would have no authority over Me, unless it had been given you from above [My Father]; for this reason he who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.”

So what kept Jesus on the Cross [tree]? Of course, it was not the nails that kept Jesus on that tree. For if He decided He was done with that plan He could have disintegrated the nails and the tree.

“Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?”

What kept Jesus on that tree was His willingness to surrender to His [the] Father’s will – to the bitter [sweet] and bloody end!

“1 Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.”

Letting His example of surrender to His Father’s will encourages us in our will to stay steady and strong throughout our entire race!

In the Garden, Jesus was feeling the pressure of what He had agreed to in eternity past. “All who dwell on the earth will worship Him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.”

The KJV says it this way, “And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship Him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”

The pressure in the olive or wine press became so great He experienced what is known as hematidrosis. Some say hematidrosis, or hematohidrosis, is caused when a person’s fight or flight response kicks into high gear. Others say when a person is in great duress, or distress, it can happen.

Whatever triggered it in Jesus He was in a real war for the salvation of the world!

“For it is for this we labor and strive, because we have fixed our hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all men, especially of believers.” Jesus is man’s only Savior but not all men will do the Father’s will to be saved by Him. Those who will, will be saved by Him.

“Father, is there another way to do what we agreed to?” Jesus was willing to die for the sins of all mankind but at that moment He was looking for a different process of pain than the Cross.

Finally, after three sessions of anguished prayer, He surrendered. “[Father] Not My will but Your will be done!”

Jesus had told His disciples, “I will build My church!” “I will!”

No one could fully understand what the Carpenter meant when He said that. Many still do not understand to this day.

“I will” must be understood in the context of “Your will!”

Even today, as the resurrected Jesus continues to build His church, He is operating out of His Father’s will functioning through His surrendered will. Jesus’ full surrender in the Garden of Gethsemane [oil press, or where olives or grapes are crushed so oil or juice for making wine is extracted] was not a momentary blip on histories radar screen. No, it is an eternal commitment to do His Father’s will.

His church is securely and ultimately built on the Father’s will being executed by Jesus, and everyone else who surrenders to the Father’s will.

“10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and those who were His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, 13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of [the will of] God.”

God is NOT every person’s Father. God is ONLY the Father to those who do His will!

So, God’s church is being built by Jesus, the Head, doing His Father’s will and as people surrender to that same will.

Have you said, “Not my will but Yours Father be done?”

If not, you are not part of His church His will is building!

Let’s look at some verses that talk about the Father’s will. These are not exclusive!

“Not everyone who says to Me, `Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.”

  • This is being said about those who overemphasize their relationship with Christ, “Who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord.'”
  • This is being said about those who bragged to Jesus what they had done “in My name” but did not have an authentic relationship with Him – “I never knew you.”

“For whoever does the will of My Father who is in heaven, he is My brother and sister and mother.”

  • This was in response to His natural family showing up to one of His meetings wanting to see Him. He asked the assembled crowd, “Who is my mother and my brothers?” Before they could answer He answered His own question with the above text.
“For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.”
  • This was in response to the grumbling of the Jews who could not accept His testimony of who He is.
  • “31 So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, ‘If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine, 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.“

When we take these and the many other texts together we get the whole picture of what it means to be His people, His church!

Attending Christian services does make a person a part of His church!

Giving money or time to a Christian church or ministry does make a person a part of His church!

Amending your ways does not make you a part of His church!

What makes a person part of His church? Doing His and the Father’s will is the only way to be part of His church.

Take the time to read all of John 6 where Jesus really hammers the religious people and His own disciples with what His Father’s will is. In fact, take the time to read all four gospels, and read them slowly as if you have never read them or heard any teachings on them before. You will be shocked at what you will see, find, and learn.

Is the State of Israel God’s Prophetic Time Clock?

The quick answer is ‘no’ to the question concerning the natural Jewish people and the nation State of Israel being God’s prophetic time clock.

In the 38 years I have been a sold out believer in Jesus Christ it has been reported by the pop prophetic voices in the church at least 6 different people purportedly to be the antichrist, as well as natural Israel being God’s prophetic time clock.

These dispen-sensational dispensers of fake news have taught we must keep our eyes on natural Israel to know what God is doing in the earth. This of course is completely unbiblical, as the writer of Hebrews tells us to fix our eyes of Jesus because He is the Author and Perfecter of faith [Hebrews 12:2].

Jesus is not just the Author and Perfecter of our faith. Our faith has not yet reached Jesus’ faith.

Jesus is the Author and Perfecter of all faith in and faithfulness to God the Father.

Additionally, Paul wrote this to the saints in Ephesus:

“1 For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles — 2 if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God’s grace which was given to me for you; 3 that by revelation there was made known to me the mystery, as I wrote before in brief. 4 By referring to this, when you read you can understand my insight into the mystery of Christ, 5 which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit; 6 to be specific, that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body, and fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel, 7 of which I was made a minister, according to the gift of God’s grace which was given to me according to the working of His power. 8 To me, the very least of all saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ, 9 and to bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which for ages has been hidden in God who created all things; 10 so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was in accordance with the eternal purpose which He carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and confident access through faith in Him. 13 Therefore I ask you not to lose heart at my tribulations on your behalf, for they are your glory.” [Ephesians 3]

Paul reveals a mystery was revealed to him, and that mystery was “of Christ.” This mystery of Christ was not made known in previous generations, and was at the time of Paul’s life being revealed to God’s holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit. This is very interesting because Paul states in Galatians 3 the gospel was preached to Abraham [3:8; Genesis 12:3c], and the writer of Hebrews tells us the gospel was preached to the people God delivered out of Egyptian bondage [4:2].

Paul goes on to be more specific about this mystery of Christ and that it is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs and fellow members of the body [of Christ], as well as fellow partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. Who are the people the Gentiles are joined in being heirs, members and have fellowship with – BELIEVING Jews who continue on in His word!

Jesus described who those believing Jews are in John 8 – “30 As He spoke these words, many believed in Him. 31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.‘”

Paul states he was given grace to:

* Preach to the Gentiles the unfathomable riches of Christ [the gospel]
* Bring to light what is the administration of the mystery which had been hidden in God who created all things [the gospel]

All of this was so that the manifold wisdom of God “might now” be made known THROUGH THE CHURCH to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places. Paul states emphatically these were done “in accordance with the ETERNAL purpose which God the Father carried out in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

This wisdom includes God’s plans and how He uses the best way of accomplishing them.

So, for the last 2000 years God has been using His church, not unsaved natural Israel, to reveal His manifold wisdom. What began with revelation to the 1st century apostles and prophets is continuing through the real church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth even into eternity future.

There are many important truths that could be unpacked but for the sake of time and space I will not unpack all of those truths. Just read Paul’s text again very slowly and let what he wrote sink deeply into your spirit.

The Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, His life and ministry, is the only life that the revelation of the mystery hidden in God should guide our lives. Natural Israel is not a factor at all in what He is doing in, and revealing to, the earth.

The phrase “hidden in God” reminds me of another text with that phrase in it.

“1 Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. 3 For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.” [Colossians 3]

We are to keep ‘seeking the things above’ and to ‘set our minds on the things above, not on the things that are on the earth.’ This means we are to think like heaven [God] not earth [man].

It is impossible to be so heavenly minded you are no earthly good. It is possible to be so earthly minded you are no earthly good.

Paul uses ‘things above’ twice. This is because it is a vitally important truth. Heaven [God] has a higher way of doing things and a higher reason for doing them that way!

The life of our Lord is the guiding Light which unveils all of God’s eternal plan for the world. Nowhere in the New Testament do we find instruction to look to or depend on the unsaved, whether Jew or not, for what God is doing in the earth. Everything God has done, and is doing He is doing in and through the life of His Son Jesus Christ. God’s plan for man has ALWAYS been the Person of Jesus Christ.

Paul goes on to state this manifold wisdom of God is being made known through the church that Jesus is building and is the Head of to the unseen spiritual world that is manipulating the minds of people who are not surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Some Christians are being manipulated by these unseen spiritual “rulers and authorities.”

Here are some dates that are coming quickly that these unseen manipulators of truth would have us focus on.

April 23, 2018 – A new rapture date predicted by someone postulating he has figured out this date based on Revelation 12:1-2 and certain plantetary alignments that are happening or or about that date. Yawn! The rapture theology has ruptured so many times it is not even worth writing about in this blog.

May 14, 2018 – The nation State of Israel’s 70th anniversary. I was gloriously born again in April 1980. In the 38 years I have served Christ Jesus I have witnessed natural Israel’s 40th anniversary in 1988, her 50th “Jubilee” anniversary in 1998, and now her 70th anniversary May 14th. All of these dates were reportedly key dates in the time clock craziness the pop prophetic voices have used to divert people from the real truth, which is – “Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ” and “keep seeking and setting your minds on things above.”

In addition, we now have the “new fear” of WWIII starting over the Syrian dilemma and other geo-political issues facing the nations of the world. These matters are playing into the hysteria the world is about to come to an end. Memo, “The meek shall inherit the earth” so hang on to your sanity so you can stay focused on what your Father wants you to inherit.

I have often said, “If you truly believe this rapture and world ending nonsense then prove it by giving to me all of your property, money, investments, and any other items of real value because I have a mission to carry out training, equipping and activating maturing saints to effectively and faithfully steward the revolution Jesus started 2000 years ago.” I have a training center to build to be able to train all the people God has promised our team and I will train.

I would like to propose a funeral service be planned for the fake news reports from the so called Christian prophetic experts of the earth’s demise, and the secret rapture of Christ’s Bride, based on the misinformation that God and His plans are tied to the unbelieving Jewish people known as the nation State of Israel.

I for one have already laid to rest the lie that natural Israel is God’s prophetic time clock.

I pray with the passing of her 70th anniversary May 14, 2018 all believers will lay it to rest too, and the rest of the true Church of Jesus Christ will be prepared to inherit and steward the revolution Jesus started 2000 years ago. The world is depending on us!

The False Gospel Produces False Faith, Hope, and Converts

Is the gift of salvation more important to you than the God who gave it to you? Any new birth that does not lead to dedicated and selfless discipleship is a still birth.

There are those who believe that once a person gets “saved” they cannot lose “their” salvation. This is foreign to Old and New Testament theology.

The church is infested with people who say. “Jesus is my Savior” but who live their life as if they are their own Lord. This is because pulpits are infected with foolish preachers telling people all they have to do is come to the altar, repeat a prayer and invite Jesus into their heart to get saved. The Bible talks about the foolishness of preaching. This is in reference to how God has chosen to communicate His heart and message concerning His salvation that He gives as a gift to people. There is a huge difference in the foolishness of preaching and foolish preachers who create their own version of what God clearly communicates.

True salvation is activated when a person “believes in their heart that God raised Jesus from the dead” and confesses with their mouth “Jesus is [my] Lord.” At the point where the person surrenders to the Lord Jesus Christ and submits to the Lordship of Jesus Christ they lose all personal rights to their life.

“19 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.” [1 Corinthians 6]

As the saying goes, “Jesus is Lord of all or not at all!” The Bible does not teach ‘accept Jesus as your Savior by inviting Him into your heart.’

Romans 10:9,10

“9 [That] if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.”

This “confession” is not a prayer. It is a solemn declaration of surrender and submission! Prayer may play a part in the surrender and submission but the declaration of surrender is where salvation is activated. A person’s deep belief in the brutal sacrifice Christ endured that culminated in His outrageous victory over death, hell and the grave through His bodily resurrection is what the confession is based on.

Do you see the connection between a person’s heart and mouth? The mouth openly declares what the heart internally believes.

The whole “God is love” crowd that believes that the love of God gives permission for promiscuity and irresponsibility has created a false sense of security in the community of the saints.

Saint means a holy person so how can a holy person continue to live unholy lives with impunity?

Hebrews 3:12-14

“12 Take care, brethren, that there not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God. 13 But encourage one another day after day, as long as it is still called “Today,” so that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin. 14 For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end.”

The writer of Hebrews, who I believe to be Paul the apostle to the Gentiles, throughout his letter warns Jewish believers in Jesus not to abandon Christ by returning to Judaism. You may be thinking that going back to a different form of the worship of God [Judaism] is not the same as going back into a life of sin. If that is your train of thought consider this next text carefully.’ This is not his first warning. In fact Hebrews is full of warnings such as this one, “1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every transgression and disobedience received a just penalty, 3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?” [Chapter 2]

The gospel of salvation is as old as the sin of man. In fact, it goes back into eternity past as Jesus is the Lamb [that was] slain before the foundation of the world before there was a man who sinned.

Let’s go back to the Hebrews 3 text and look at Paul’s dire warning to ‘believers’.

  • Take care, brethren – This call to take care is to ‘brethren’ which confirms Paul is talking to people he considered his brothers and sisters in Christ. Taking care means understanding by seeing the danger of deception. It also means to be mindful of your surroundings so that you can take appropriate action for your safety.
  • That there not be in any one of you – Individuals affect the corporate body positively or negatively. Obviously the concern here is the infection of Christ’s Body through individual lifestyle choices that are demonic and destructive.
  • An evil, unbelieving heart – What separates Christianity from Judaism is the heart. Going back into the Sermon of the Mount we see Jesus comparing what had been taught concerning outward appearances and actions to what He was teaching concerning what is going on in our heart. God sees and judges people’s heart! The Spirit confronted and convicted me some years back when He said this to me, “Your problem is you believe in a God you do not believe.” Ouch! Do you believe the God you say you believe in? We do not get to pick and choose what we believe out of all that God has said and continues to say. Jesus said to the Jews who believed Him, “31 If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; 32 and you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.” [John 8] Lasting freedom exists in continuing in His truth!
  • That falls away from the living God – I asked this question in the beginning of this blog – Is the gift of salvation more important to you than the God who gives it to you? According to Paul it is absolutely possible for a Christian believer to fall away from the living God who gave them life and eternal life. Therefore, if it is possible to fall away from God is it possible to hold onto ‘your’ salvation while you are falling away from God who gave it? I think not!
  • Encourage one another day after day, as long as it is called “Today” – I tell people often, “Tomorrow never comes because when the day we see as tomorrow comes it is called today.” Individual believers have the responsibility to encourage each other daily by warning them of the dangers of disconnecting from God’s heart. You don’t hear that taught in ‘today’s’ seeker sensitive church cultures. Many ‘brethren’ only receive goose bump giving encouragement. Paul does not subscribe to superficial, pseudo-spiritual seeker sensitive spin.
  • So that none of you will be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin – The deceitfulness of sin hardens people, Christian or not. Paul is saying here that there is a deceitfulness attached to sin and that deceitfulness is as dangerous as the actual sin. Why? Because the author of sin is the devil who lives to deceive. The devil is a liar and has been from the beginning. If your pastor [preacher] does not warn you away from the deceitfulness of sin he is an agent of the prince of darkness, and like the prince of darkness is parading around like an angel of light. Can you say, “DECEPTION”?
  • For we have become partakers of Christ IF we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end – The proof we had a beginning of faith in Christ [faithfulness to Christ] is we live until the end faithful to Christ. There is not one ounce of truth to the “once saved always saved” or “Jesus is my savior but I am my Lord” in the Bible. “Those who endure to the end will be saved” means the saved endure to the end. There is an old saying that is, “How we finish is more important than where we start.”

The genuine gospel is not as appealing as the counterfeit gospel to those who want to say they are Christian and not live as Christ lived. I will end with these three ‘encouraging’ texts.

1 John 2

“3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 The one who says, “I have come to know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him; 5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.”

John 14:31

“So that the world may know that I love the Father, I do exactly as the Father commanded Me. Get up, let us go from here.”

Matthew 28

“18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’”

John, the beloved disciple of Jesus, wrote both of the first two clear and concise texts. It is interesting to me that John says Jesus said His Father gave Him commandments to keep. That is how Jesus is able to require His disciples to keep all of His commandments and to teach others to keep them all too. Keeping God’s commandments are for the purpose of convincing the world we love our Father. Maybe the reason we are not convincing the world is because we are resisting the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Several key points to consider in closing – 1] We prove we abide [are] in Christ when we walk the same walk Jesus walked. We cannot claim to be in Christ living like the devil who rebelled against God. 2] Jesus commanded His disciples to move on, “let us go from here’ and then encouraged them by saying, ‘I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ 3] His being with us as we move on from where we are enables us to live the life He lived. If we do not live the life He lived we should be concerned that we probably have fallen away from Him.

Remember, God may not ever leave or forsake us but all the New Testament writers warn us not to fall away from God in their own way.

Judgment Begins!

Judgment begins and when it begins it may not end for quite some time!

“For it is time for judgment to begin with the household of God; and if it begins with us first, what will be the outcome for those who do not obey the gospel of God?” 1 Peter 4:17

There are way too many people inside and outside of the church who see judgment as only punitive. Judgment certainly can be punitive but more times than not it represents a judicial decision that reveals divine purpose. Whether punitive or not when God issues His judgments they are always redemptive in nature and purpose.

Judgment has always been a part of keeping the church, and society in general, pure. The reason is simple, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God”, and “Pursue . . .  and holiness, without which no one will see God.”  God wants every person to see Him, so they can find Him, so they can encounter Him, so they can discover who He truly is.

In April 1980 when I was 23 years old I surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Therefore I cannot speak to what transpired before that magnanimous life changing decision concerning the process of purging that is to lead to purity. In the early 1980’s we began to witness the unveiling of impurity in the church. In fact, the TV ministry [PTL Club], and the minister [Jim Baaker] who influenced me to surrender to the Lord from what was talked about on several of their morning television shows was embroiled in a sex scandal himself.

Most of the revelations in the 1980’s had to do with Protestant, Pentecostal and or Charismatic impropriety, and then after that a deluge began to develop over the rampant sexual abuse within the Catholic Church.

Now, fast forward to today and the latest religious organization to be sucked into the sewer of sexual impropriety is the Jehovah Witness’. “Jehovah’s Witnesses who allegedly suffered child abuse accused denominational leaders of telling them not to report abuse, saying it ‘would bring reproach on Jehovah.'” [From an article on http://www.dailycaller.com 11/20/17]

Reproach on Jehovah? Think of the damage that is done when children are told not to tell when they are abused because the God [god for the JW’s] they serve and trust would be negatively affected if they were to come clean. That certainly adds insult to their injury.

The problem is most of the exposure of the church has been done by the secular world [people outside the church]. Why the church doesn’t police its own purity is bewildering to me. It really shouldn’t be a surprise because the early church in Corinth refused to clean out the corruption of sexual sin, so this problem has persisted for two thousand years.

1 Corinthians 5

“1 It is actually reported that there is immorality among you, and immorality of such a kind as does not exist even among the Gentiles, that someone has his father’s wife. 2 You have become arrogant and have not mourned instead, so that the one who had done this deed would be removed from your midst. . . . 9 I wrote you in my letter not to associate with immoral people; 10 I did not at all mean with the immoral people of this world, or with the covetous and swindlers, or with idolaters, for then you would have to go out of the world. 11 But actually, I wrote to you not to associate with any so-called brother if he is an immoral person, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or a swindler—not even to eat with such a one. 12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Do you not judge those who are within the church? 13 But those who are outside, God judges. Remove the wicked man from among yourselves.”

Paul, as the apostolic founder and father of the church in the city of Corinth was appalled at how the leaders and members in Corinth were not dealing with the devilish behavior of one of its members. Paul’s unwavering wisdom maintains the standard the Savior of the Body laid out when He was setting the foundational teaching for the citizens of His kingdom. Paul went so far as to turn the man over to Satan to destroy his flesh [carnal, sinful nature and behavior] so that he might possibly be saved [forgiven, delivered and healed]. This is divine justice at its finest on display. The destruction of all that brings destruction in our lives for the purpose of us finding all that God has in store for our lives. What a deal that is!

“I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” [1 Corinthians 5:5]

I want to remind you this was a member of the church Paul did this to. Paul took to task the leaders and members for not making purity in their community a priority. Either this erring “so-called brother” was a faux Christian or Paul is clearly communicating unrepentant sinful behavior endangers our connection to Christ the Head of the Body resulting in dis-membering, or disqualification of our membership.

The same can be said of the way the church, and more specifically the Catholic Church has handled sexual predatory behavior. Reassigning pastors or priests to other churches [parishes] only enables them to prey on unknowing innocent parishoners.

Whatever happened to:

Ephesians 5

5 For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. 6 Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. 7 Therefore do not be partakers with them; 8 for you were formerly darkness, but now you are Light in the Lord; walk as children of Light 9 (for the fruit of the Light consists in all goodness and righteousness and truth), 10 trying to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. 11 Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them; 12 for it is disgraceful even to speak of the things which are done by them in secret. 13 But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. 14 For this reason it says, ‘Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.'”

Who is the “sleeper” Paul is talking about in verse fourteen? Some say it is those who are living in darkness while others say it is those who are not maintaining the culture of Light. Either way, God wants the atmosphere around His people to replicate the atmosphere around Him.

Paul is once again dealing with unholy behavior within the community of those who are called by God holy. “Sons of disobedience” are those within the church who live their lives replicating the behavior of the father of sin, the devil. Paul goes on to say, “Let no one deceive you.” This is fatherly love being lavished on the ones being deceived. Paul is saying you cannot live in darkness and the light at the same time. Believing you can is deception.

One advantage the early church had over the church of today is there was only one church per city or region. Today there are hundreds if not thousands in a relatively small geographical area. What happens many times when someone is “discovered” to be living like a sinner while claiming to be a saint and are confronted, they “hear from God” and leave the community they claimed as their spiritual family and find an unsuspecting one to infect with their faithlessness.

Now that at least forty years of recent judgment has been uncovering corruption in God’s church it is now moving onto the other mountains [high places] of influence that make up society’s standard bearers.

Media, politics, military, arts, sports, law enforcement, business, family and the education mountains are undergoing what the church has been facing for at least a generation. Forty years is the time of testing in Scripture, and now that the church is approaching the end of her forty year time of testing the rest of the world and its systems can expect to undergo its own season of soul searching. This is not to say the church is now exempt from continued judgment. Hopefully, we in the church will pick up the mantle of maturity and deal with this problem “in house.”

What we see happening in the world right now is nothing short of a spiritual showdown where the God who sees everything is uncovering the darkness the prince of darkness has kept in the shadows of the unholy. “There is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known” [Matthew 10:26; Luke 12:2].

Those who do not like President Donald Trump might not like what I am about to say but I will say it anyway. In the year since he was Constitutionally elected as our forty fifth president our superficial society is opening up and hidden horrors as coming into the light. The sewers in our society are no longer seeping. Now they are hemorrhaging.

I am convinced Donald Trump, with all of his personality quirks, weaknesses and past moral failures, possesses a fire that has been building in him for about as long as the house of God has been being exposed [1980’s – present]. Do your own research of his interviews that he did as far back as the 80’s, and see how he has been consistent in his open expression of love for this country and what he believes the solutions are that will bring us back to prominence on the planet God owns and loves. America, will all of her flaws, is still anointed by God to be a world leader for good.

It is interesting to me that since Donald Trump was elected our forty fifth president all sorts of sordid secret stuff is surfacing up from the sewer. And it is really interesting because his enemies sought to take him out with something he said years ago and with fake salacious smut. Many who were horrified at his crass conversation about “what certain women want” are now embroiled directly or indirectly in their own corrupt behavior. Hypocrisy on all levels are being highlighted right now.

In just over twelve months people in high places in academia, media, arts, politics and other areas of the social fabric of our society are being exposed for the hypocrisy they hid in plain sight. Now it is just in plain sight! And it is not pretty.

And the continued exposure is not the kind of exposure they desire, or are used to receiving!

“There is pleasure in sin for a season” is one reason people sin. “Be sure your sin will find you out” should be reason enough for all of us to constantly take personal inventory of what is hidden in our heads and hearts and should cause us to do due diligence in digging it up and doing away with it.

In my Book, Welcome To The Wilderness I write this as it pertains to Gomer. Gomer was a women looking for love in all of the wrong places.

Chapter 3, Page 63

“Now, what are the uninhabited areas of our lives that are uninhabitable?

That describes much of Gomer’s life. She was a mess. We don’t know why she was a mess. We don’t know why she could not be satisfied in relationships. We do not know what drove her to prostitution.

What we do know is God sent salvation to fix all of her problems!

All of us have areas in our lives that are uninhabitable. Each of us have stuff, baggage that we carry around with us, that God cannot bless. It may be ugly sin or it may be lies we believe, or places we refuse to look at, or just life in general that gets in His way.

The beauty of salvation is that those areas do not scare it. Salvation thrives in the junk rooms of people’s lives.

So God brought Gomer into those areas of her life in the wilderness.

Salvation never enters those areas to join them. Salvation enters in to reform, or transform them.

Salvation gives new life to old things that are dead.”

The fire Donald Trump possesses trumps the sanctimonious secretism of the social elite.

Isaiah chapter 45 clearly speaks of a leader God chose [anointed] for a special work that would be the precursor of a spiritual awakening in the land. Isaiah spoke concerning a man who wasn’t from the established Jewish order of leadership. God chose this man in spite of the established leadership community.

This man was named Cyrus. Cyrus means one who possesses the fire. This fire fueled his passion to find and fulfill his purpose. It drove him to heights of leadership excellence. Cyrus was the leader of Persia and Persia means pure or splendid. This man who was not considered pure or splendid by the establishment had been being established by God who does not look at the outward appearances of men like men do. God looks for what men possess that other men cannot see or refuse to see.

In spite of what you think of Donald Trump he possesses a purity and splendor that God chose to use and is using. In some ways Donald Trump is like king David. David certainly had serious lapses of judgment but God said David “was a man after My heart, who would do all My will.”

Donal Trump’s business acumen and vision enables him to see things way in advance and we might say God has graced him with a prophetic ability to see past the obvious into what is necessary.

President Trump, like Cyrus, is anointed for very specific goals. To accomplish these goals certain things must be uncovered, exposed and removed. One of the things that stands out about Cyrus is how Isaiah reports that God took Cyrus by the right hand. The right side represents authority and hand represents possession, or what we have responsibility for. In order for God to take Cyrus by the right hand God would have had to have been on his right side. This means God not only provided Cyrus His authority by being on Cyrus’ right side but he acknowledged what Cyprus possessed and anointed that for His purposes, even though Cyrus did not come from His “people.”

It appears Cyrus had a reputation as a kind, gentle and merciful conquerer. During an excavation of ancient Babylon in 1978 a cylinder was discovered containing a charter written by Cyrus. This charter promised to treat all the inhabitants of Babylon and the other kingdoms he conquered with respect. He swore that he would allow all inhabitants of his empire to practice their own religious and social customs without persecution. Cyrus also promised to punish anyone who acted cruelly to the religious and social minorities of his kingdom. Cyrus forbade the seizure of farmer’s lands and properties and made slavery of any kind illegal. Cyrus’ commitment to fair and equitable treatment of his people is exemplary by modern standards and was unique during his time period. [http://study.com/academy/lesson/cyrus-the-great-facts-accomplishments-quiz.html]

Maybe this is why God chose him to release the Jews to rebuild in the land they had been banned from.

Again, Donald Trump has many obvious flaws. We might want to be gracious because most of us have many flaws too. In being kind maybe we could agree his life is complicated. Is your life complicated with complications? What if your words were recorded and revealed to the world? Would they eliminate you from public service or ministry?

Donald Trump also has a reputation of doing extraordinary acts of kindness. He also has a great reputation with many of his past and present employees in his real estate empire.

Judgment begins, and when it begins it may not end for quite some time!

Let’s look at what Cyrus was anointed to do and view them in light of what Donald Trump is doing in our day.

  • Subdue  [conquer] nations – Now, when we think of subdue and conquer we think of destroying and or reshaping what is conquered after the image of the conquering country. That is not what Cyrus was anointed to do [I remind you of that cylinder found in 1878] and that is not what President Trump is doing. Other administrations wanted to remake conquered lands in the image of the USA. President Trump is not like the other Presidents who have failed miserably at nation building and who unleashed untold misery in the lands that have been conquered. Donald Trump believes in the sovereignty of individual nations and the national pride of those nation’s citizens. Again, this sounds like Cyrus.
  • Loose loins – Loins are the reproductive areas of our body. It is where production originates. The reproductive and creative ability resident in the organs and systems of the people are to be loosed [make wide open and set free]. Donald Trump is not forcing other nations to be molded into the image of our Constitutional Republic. He encourages the people to find their best selves and strive for excellence in their personal pursuits.
  • Of kings – The royals, or leaders in various spheres of influence and their advisors. In other words, Cyrus was, and President Trump is, anointed to expose the God-given abilities inherent in the leaders of other lands that will cause tremendous transformation with the societies they lead.
  • To open doors – This is the same word Hebrew word used for “loose”. This can be seen in light of the promise that God will open doors no man can shut [Revelation 3:8]. I believe this is the main reason why all the attacks against President Trump have failed and will continue to fail because man did not create Donald Trump, no man anointed Donald Trump, and no man opened doors for Donald Trump. Also, these doors that God opens is for the purpose of gaining access to the movers and shakers [the leaders] in the lands where the doors open.
  • So that gates will not be shut – Again, what God opens man cannot shut. Gates are access and egress points into a city, state, region or nation. There are natural and spiritual gateways into people and places. Ancient gates are now being opened.
  • I will go before you and make the rough places smooth – This speaks to how President Trump is received and honored in the different nations where he has traveled. Apparently other nations’ leaders see leadership in President Trump.
  • I will shatter the doors of bronze and cut through their iron bars – Bronze and iron speak to the resistance to change and those who are presenting the resistance, among other things. One has to choose not to see all of the positive change that has happened in the first year of President Trump’s administration. Have we arrived? No. But we are way farther down the road to recovery than we have in at least 10-12 years. The tide is turning toward transformation!
  • Treasures of darkness – Speaks of things in people and the people themselves that have been hidden from sight. Scripture tells us “we [Christians] have this treasure in earthen vessels.” Treasure begins in the womb and President Trump is being called the most pro-life President in our history. Protecting the unborn will release a blessing on our land that has the potential to stay the slaughter that is so prevalent in our streets. Also, this speaks of the gifts, talents, and abilities inherent inside of people that has not had an opportunity to be revealed and released. We are on the cusp of historic discoveries and demonstrations. WINNING IS FUN!
  • Hidden wealth in secret places – A nation’s wealth is not necessarily in the material possession. Jesus said, “A man’s life does not consist in what he possesses.” Rather, a nation’s wealth is her people. People no one has heard of before will begin to come out of secret places and be recognized for their great exploits.

All of this was done so that Cyrus [and Donald Trump] would know the Lord like he never knew was possible. Donald Trump is growing in the grace and knowledge of God Almighty. Has he arrived? No! Neither have you or I arrived! So we, like Donald Trump, must keep moving closer to the heart of God who loves us with all of His heart.

Isaiah prophesied it was for God’s people’s sake that God called Cyrus and gave him a place of honor. He said that was in spite of the fact Cyrus did not know God when He called and anointed him. Donald Trump has made protecting Christians worldwide a priority. Not even George W. Bush, a “born again Christian” did that. In fact, it is without question W’s policies in the middle east unleashed hell on Christians throughout the region. That hell was exacerbated under #44.

Also, now in America Christian leaders are no longer afraid of speaking into the political arena because the Johnson Act has been neutered, and we can thank President Trump for that, not #43!

God is on the move again! God is on the rise again! I believe it is because God is being honored at the highest level of our government again!

Let us pray that the Sun of Righteousness, who rose with healing in His wings, will release His healing virtue throughout our land. God is revealing His judgments and the world is in for another renassaince. Only this time it will come with spiritual revival and reformation that will result in a transformation that does not destroy the ancient foundations. That failed and is being overturned. Now foundations are being restored and new foundations are being laid.

So, let the real building begin!

Seeker Sensitive – ism!

How many seeker church services have been commandeered by the Commander and Chief of the Church, and gone longer than the hour they allot for Him to work in their midst?

Short segments of “worship” and crafty sermonette’s create short attention spans!

“Who may ascend the hill of the Lord” are for those who only climb hills that are more like speed bumps in their road to the rest of their lives.

When it takes longer to drive to church, park and enter the sanctuary than it does for the service you came to participate in one should wonder if it is worth the time. Unless the purpose of attending is not connecting to the Presence of the Person they are supposed to worship but the people who may help them in their “real” “life” connections.

Seeker leaders think they must shrink their services because their people have short attention spans.

Do they not realize they are creating a people who cannot focus for very long, and are catering to people who do not want to focus for very long?

What I hear them saying when they talk to me is, “My congregation is made up of children [immature people].” They don’t actually say that but that is what they are actually saying!

Their solution is short sessions. Using illustrative sermons much like a kid’s Sunday School lesson, they build props to prop up their lack of revelation in the Word.

Using “people are visual learners” they fall for the Madison Avenue method of marketing the messages they bring week in and week out, never understanding they are causing the Body to be weak, week after week.

“Meat is for the mature” never crosses their mind because to serve meat would require more time to digest. And time is not a commodity they trade in.

Seeker services are like a fast food restaurant.

“You know, we have to move this group out and get the next group in” is the mindset of the mindless.

Many act as if noon is the bewitching hour so lets move along because we’ve got lunch to consume. It makes me wonder if “their god is their belly” is applicable!

Unfortunately, numbers of attenders instead of the maturity of believers is a core value!

Serving food [a sermon] that is primarily pre-packaged [written by some sermon writer] that they have paid to access, they rarely access heaven to release fresh revelation. Left overs are constantly on the menu!

How do saints fall for the seeker sensitive model?

I have attended 3 seeker sensitive services. The longest I could stomach was 3 minutes! Within minutes I realized that what was being offered was not His Presence but “my program.”

I don’t have time for that!

Creeping Corruption!

Corruption corrupts and one devastating characteristic of it is that it can creep in unnoticed.

I find it interesting how our President hesitates to call, or never calls Islamic jihadi terrorism terrorism, but jumps to conclusions and asserts himself as knowing what happened and why they happened in non Islamic jihadi events.

Do you remember the beer summit where he jumped to the conclusion a police officer was out of line in arresting his professor friend?

There are many patterns that have emerged in the 7 years of his leadership that are extremely troubling.

He said “I am going to fundamentally transform America” and tons of people cheered thinking his changes were going to be positive. Others cheered because they hate America and its core values and they understood he was going to create chaos which he has done.

As a former athlete I understand the importance of developing good fundamentals and the continuing focus on maintaining good fundaments.

As a minister of the gospel of the kingdom of God I understand the importance of the fundamentals of the [our] faith.

Fundamentals are the basic or core beliefs and ways to do things the correct way. That is why you see things in the New Testament such as:

Jude 1

“3 Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints. 4 For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.”

Jude warns true believers in Christ Jesus about contending for THE FAITH and then describes the faith as the one that was “once and for all handed down to the saints.” Jude then warns how certain persons have crept in unnoticed to undermine God’s grace and turn it into something Jesus nor His apostles ever meant it to be.

In other words Jude was saying that “the faith” and “the grace of our Lord” is susceptible to be perverted by perverted people whose mission in life is to pervert that which is given to liberate people.

Jude describes them so we can recognize them!

 10 But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed. 11 Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, and for pay they  have rushed headlong into the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah. 12 These are the men who are hidden  reefs in your love feasts when they feast with you without fear, caring for themselves; clouds without water, carried along by winds; autumn trees without fruit, doubly dead, uprooted; 13 wild waves of the sea, casting up their own shame like foam; wandering stars, for whom the black darkness has been reserved forever.”

They ~

Are revilers of things they don’t understand – Barack Obama has reviled Christianity and true Christians from the onset of his Presidency, even to the degree of bowing before foreign heads of state. The only head of State or king a true Christian bows to is Jesus Christ the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Are like unreasoning animals destroyed by the things they instinctively know – Barack Obama is a ravenous wolf hell bent on destroying the fabric of our society for his own personal, political and religious gain. But he will not be successful ultimately because he is contending against the true King.

Go the way of Cain – Cain killed his brother when he did not get his way with God. [I have a blog on Cain]

For financial gain rush headlong into the way of Balaam – Balaam was a  false prophet for hire.

Perish in the way of Korah – Attacking God’s true person of authority never ends well in the end.

Are selfish and fearless imposters who join in the love feasts [communion meal]. These imposters are “hidden reefs” that cause the shipwreck of other people’s faith who are not spiritual enough to recognize the danger they pose.

Are clouds without water – They have the appearance of refreshing and providing for the cultivation of people’s productivity but instead they are empty and void of any real help.

Are carried about by winds – They are not anchored to real truth. They are not moved by the Spirit of God. They are moved by “winds” which are unseen forces of destruction. They are not their own person. They have given them selves over to others who rule through them.

Are autumn trees without fruit – They have tons of colorful leaves but there is nothing in them that is of real benefit. They look good and that is all they have to offer.

Are doubly dead – They live but have no real life in them. They gave up the life God gave them and in the end will die an eternal death separated from the God who gave them life and promoted them to places of prominence.

Will be uprooted – Their root [core values] will be exposed when God topples them over.

Are wild waves of the sea – They are tumultuous in their representation of the sea of people they were called to lead and influence in a positive way for God.

Cast up their own shame like foam – They will have no one to blame when they are exposed as frauds because they made the decisions to be shameful in their behavior. Like foam they have no real substance!

Are wandering stars – They are rebellious and wander from the course God designed for them. They left the call of God on their lives to answer the call to self reliance and self indulgence.

Will end up in a very dark place – ‘Black’ means totally obscured and unable to see clearly, a cloud. The reference is that they chose to allow their judgment to be clouded and so their eternal state will be confusion and derision. The word ‘darkness’ literally means the absence of light. Jesus said that He was THE light of the world. When they chose to reject Jesus they chose to live without His light. Their end is complete misery!

These folks according to Jude have been “long beforehand marked out for this condemnation.” I believe our President is one of these people. He came to us as a wolf in sheep’s clothing, claiming to be a Christian yet his beliefs and policies are anti Christian to the core.

I am NOT saying Barack Obama is the anti Christ! I am saying I believe he was marked by God long ago, just as Pharaoh of old was marked and raised up by God so that God’s power could be manifested on behalf of His covenant people.

Barack Obama came to us as a wolf in sheep’s clothing! He discarded his sheep’s clothing rather quickly and for some time the emperor has been naked, revealing his ravenous ways.

The naked truth is President Obama is not a good sheep. And he certainly is not a good shepherd of the sheep.

I believe the people of God are on the precipice of major breakthroughs as God reveals His power, dominion and authority, in and through His real sheep [covenant people].

Psalm 110

A Psalm of David

“1 The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.’ 
2 The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! 
3 Your people shall be volunteers In the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. 
4 The Lord has sworn And will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever According to the order of Melchizedek.’ 
5 The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. 
6 He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries. 
7 He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.”

Jesus, as the good shepherd has begun the execution of kings as He judges among the nations. He is filling the places with dead bodies and He will execute the heads of many countries.

This Psalm is not talking about literally killing leaders or the people they are leading. It is talking about the release of God’s power and authority in the earth through His people which will result in the elimination of ungodly rule through ungodly rulers.

Verse 1

“The Lord said to my Lord, ‘Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.'”

  • For all of the rapture enthusiasts – Jesus is not coming to rapture [rescue] you off this planet so you will not have to execute your assignment.
  • Jesus is remaining in heaven ’till’ something significant happens and that significant happening is the surrender of God’s enemies to God and the submission of His enemies to God.

Verse 2

“The Lord shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies!”

  • Zion, according to the writer of Hebrews tells us in chapter 12, is the blood bought Church of the living God.
  • The Lord is sending His authority out of His people, the Church, which is made up of people born again through the blood of Jesus. This began on the day of Pentecost in the first century.
  • These people will rule with Him “IN THE MIDST OF HIS ENEMIES.”
  • This means Jesus and His people are ruling right now as He sits in heaven at the right hand of Father God.

Verse 3

“Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power; In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth.”

  •  God’s people will be so excited about the release of God’s power they will line up to volunteer to be a part of what He is doing in the earth. Right now you can’t depend on God’s people to even show up for a prayer service, or a worship service. BUT a day is coming when there will be so many volunteers leaders won’t know what to do with all of them.

Verse 4

“The Lord has sworn and will not relent, ‘You are a priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.'”

  • God is committed to a new type and level of priesthood that is eternal in nature and rewards victory over God’s enemies.

Verse 5

“The Lord is at Your right hand; He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath.”

  • Jesus is currently at the right hand of the Father and He is presently executing kings in the day [not days] of His wrath.
  • The day of His wrath was in 70A.D. when He came in vengeance to destroy Judaism and Judaism’s leaders. He continues His execution of His plan of world dominance as He set it forth in the Garden of Eden and it will end with the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdom of our God and Christ.

Verse 6

“He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.”

  • Jesus’ judgment extends out from Jerusalem and Judaism to all of the nations [ethnic groups] and [the] countries [they live in] on the planet.
  • This judgment is judicial in nature and not militaristic. The dead bodies are not literal. They are the bodies of governments that are no longer viable in the affairs of the citizens they were leading.
  • The execution of the head of many countries speaks of the removal of the leaders who do not lead under His leadership [Lordship].

Verse 7

“He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; Therefore He shall lift up the head.”

  • Jesus shall drink by the brook [stream, torrent].
    • This word is related to the word used in the Old Testament where God told His covenant people in the OT to go in and “possess” their inheritance. This possession was the dispossession of everyone and everything that stood on and in the way of them obtaining the inheritance God promised them.
    • In the Old Testament the connotation was physical warfare and the killing or enslaving everyone that stood in the way.
    • In the New Testament our warfare is NOT against human beings, even though our enemy the devil uses human beings as tools through wish he plies his trade [craft and craftiness].
  • To drink means to drink and to give a drink.
    • It also means to irrigate which means to provide life giving nourishment to what you have planted.
    • Irrigate medicinally means to apply a continuous flow of water and or medicine to a wound or organ.
  • Jesus, the Head of the Church, His covenant people, and the Head of the brook, stream, river, torrent of anointing and power will lift up the head [authority of His kings and priests] so that He and they together will complete the mission of transformation of the earth back to God’s original design.
    • The world and worldly people are sick with sin and the only cure is the Cross of Christ Jesus, and the message of forgiveness of iniquity and sin and the healing of physical infirmities that flow out from it.
    • This message under the anointing of the Holy Spirit will bring redemption, reconciliation to God, reconstruction and the revitalization of the people and planet God so loves.

Romans 15

 18 For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient — 19 in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God, so that from Jerusalem and round about to Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

The “fully preaching” of Gods’ gospel is in the POWER of the Holy Spirit with MIGHTY signs and wonders so that the Gentiles [every person not related to God the Father through faith in His Son Jesus Christ]. The end result is obedience to God!!!!!!

By the way, the word for signs and wonders in Hebrew [the language of the Old Testament] is môphêth [pronounced mo-faith].

Come on everybody! Mo-faith produces signs and wonders and signs and wonders produce mo-faith.

Where are God’s volunteers?

Do God’s people not realize we ARE IN THE DAY OF GOD’S POWER?

“You shall receive POWER after the Holy Spirit comes upon [up and on] you.” This is speaking of the believer being immersed [baptized] in the [Person] of the Holy Spirit.

Christian, have you been immersed in the Holy Spirit since you believed in [and received] Jesus Christ as you Lord?

If not, why not?

What are you waiting on?

Volunteer yourself to receive POWER from on high!

Barack Hussein Obama, as the anti shepherd, does not believe in our core, basic values so he works to undermine and weaken them in order to create disorder so his value system can be implemented.

His value system is “divide and conquer” so that more un-godly governmental control can be exerted on the citizenry he is supposed to lead to, and in, their personal freedoms.

His value system is “America and God loving people” are the problem and we need to be put in our place. That is why he has constantly attacks Christianity and our deeply Christian roots as well as blamed America and apologized for America everywhere he goes, especially on foreign soil, and specifically in the Muslim world.

Remember the memo that went out early in his “reign” that the people “we the people” had to be wary of were “Bible thumping Christians, ex military and other people he is afraid of.

Barack Obama crept in under the pretense of “hope and change” flashing his big smile and a lot of people took the bait. Those who did not were viciously maligned as racist and ignorant.

Wake up America!

“If the foundations are destroyed what can the righteous do?” [Psalm 11:3]

The first thing they can do is repent for being duped and for allowing the foundations to be destroyed. Many Christians voted Obama into office – two times!

They can humble themselves and pray!

They can seek God’s face [pleasure] and turn from THEIR wicked [twisted] ways!

They can quit blaming others and take personal responsibility for their personal irresponsibilities.

They can view the world from a Biblical perspective and judge what political leaders say and do, and how they vote on critical issues. Then they must vote out all of the liars who make promises they never keep as well as all of those who never intended to defend the Constitution.

Christians should base their vote on the plumb line of Scripture, not their felt needs. They must vote according to Biblical principles such as individual freedom and responsibility as well as life is valuable and children are a gift from the Lord. Therefore a Christian must never vote for a politician that allows for the murder of the unborn.

They can vote for the people who are the closest to those values!

Oath of Office for President of the United States

US Constitution, Article II, Section 1

Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation: “I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Somehow and somewhere in our nation’s past this oath to defend our Constitution has been reduced to “Defend the Homeland.” I know this did not start with Barack Obama. It may have started with George W. Bush after 9/11’s attacks on our “homeland”.

Look, I am all for defending our Homeland but not at the expense of our Constitution. Our Constitution continues to be cast aside so that the Government can “keep us safe”. The Government is diverting our attention away from their abuse of our liberties as they work feverishly to remove them all in the name of “security”.

Until God’s covenant people wake up, rise up to their rightful place of responsibility and begin exercising the authority they have been given our country will continue to go down the wrong path because we will be led by people who think we ARE the problem.

We are not THE problem! We are THEIR problem!

Wake up America!

Wake up American Christian!

Rid yourself of all creeping corruption. Return to the principles of THE FAITH which Jesus authored, handed off to His hand picked successors, who then found faithful people to carry His torch on down to our generation.

The Shemitah, Blood Moons, The Pope And The Real People Of God! – UPDATED

The Shemitah came and went. The last Blood Moon faded back to its normal color. The Pope came to America, left, and the antichrist and his false prophet are still unknown. The world is still spinning on its axis! America is still the greatest natural nation on the earth [the Church is the greatest Nation – a Holy Nation with citizens whose citizenship is in heaven]. Our economy, though not great, has not collapsed.

By the way, there will be those who will take great offense to this blog post. Some will label me with names such at antisemitic or anti catholic Church. I am not antisemitic nor anti catholic Church, but I am proudly anti Shemitah nonsense [I am pro Savior of the world], and I am anti blood moon [I am pro blood of Christ], and I am anti Pope as the Holy Father [My Holy Father is my heavenly Father, who is the God and Father of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Father of glory].

I believe the Church Jesus is building is catholic, as in universal and eternal. The real Church is made up of the members who have surrendered their lives to the Lordship of Jesus the Christ, the only begotten of the Father. The real Church is local, regional, global and eternal. The leader of the real Church is the Lord Jesus Christ!

Some entrepreneur should make and market shirts and other memorabilia that says:
“I survived The Shemitah!”
“I was not blinded by the Blood Moon!”
And, “The Pope Is Not My Poppa!”

The Pope, God bless him, I mean that literally and sincerely because I have to wonder if the man is born again or has just been able to ascend to a position of power in a pseudo religious organization.

I mean, isn’t he supposed to be THE representative of Christianity on the planet?

With all of the tremendous opportunities while in America to preach the gospel of the kingdom to the whole world – the gospel with the Cross of Christ at the center – repentance from a sinful life and faith toward God – and he repeatedly swung and missed. As expected, he gave more credence to Mary than to Jesus and to the temporary social ideals of a social gospel instead of dealing with the real issues plaguing mankind – separation from the Creator by sinning against Him, and refusing to repent and receive His only Son.

You would think Mary is the Savior of all mankind and the only Mediator between God and man. Maybe she is to the Pope, and to all of the people who place their eternal well-being in the hands of the wrong Father.

I have been sitting on this post for months now. I thought about posting it when I first started writing it because I was convinced nothing was going to happen. I am so grateful I quit listening to these nuts after the 88 Reasons Why Jesus Will Return in 1988 diabolical debacle, and after the hysteria of Y2K, and became like the Bereans, who were more noble than the Thessalonians. Their nobility was in searching the Scriptures themselves to make sure what they were being taught was true, was really true.

The reason people can continue to promote and profit from such propaganda is because of the nonsensical people who buy into it. There are way too many intellectually lazy “believers”.

I am encouraging people to ask for refunds for any and everything they bought. It was a waste of hard earned money!

I decided I would post this after the “dust [flesh]” settled so we can get back into the Spirit.

The false prognosticators have already started their “explanation” of how they never said for sure if anything devastating would happen. I mean, any one of the “special signs” should have released the fury of God on a disobedient and disappointing world. But when you combine the Shemitah, four blood moons AND the Pope, now that is a recipe for disaster for sure.

Isn’t it?

I have one question for them then – Why write the books, preach the sermons, go on TV shows, and all of the other things you did to promote your “belief” that “something bad” “could happen” because God works according to specific ways that have to do with Jewish “prophetic” indicators like cycles of years, Feasts and other false claims?

Colossians 2:16-23 – “So let no one judge you in food or in drink [Jewish dietary laws], or regarding a festival [Jewish feasts] or a new moon or sabbaths [Jewish holy days], which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God. Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations — ‘Do not touch, do not taste, do not handle,’ which all concern things which perish with the using — according to the commandments and doctrines of men? These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.”

Is your position – “If I keep throwing crap against a wall eventually something will stick.” Meaning, “If I keep spewing nonsense eventually something I say might actually happen.” You cannot have it both ways by stating now that you never said for sure something bad would happen, then wait hoping something happens so you can say, I told you all that it “could” happen.

And please do not insult our intelligence by claiming as the Y2K false prophets did, that the prayers of the saints averted the disaster. I mean, do we really believe prayer changed the computer codes that they said would cause mayhem. And do we now believe our prayers stopped God from using “His method of dealing with man”.

Have you never read this? “Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God.” [1 Corinthians 4:5]

Or, “And inasmuch as it is appointed for men to die once and after this comes judgment.” [Hebrews 9:27]

Or, “But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner–not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges.” [1 Corinthians 5:11-13a]

The context in this text is a “believer” in the Corinthian church was sinning sexually and the leadership was not “judging” the situation or the saint. Paul, as the apostolic father and founder of the church, stepped in to deal with the devilish dilemma.

Paul, as genuine fathers must do at times, intervened with God’s wisdom. He expands the internal handling [judging] of the situation and saint from just those who sin sexually to include those “believers” who are covetous [desiring what belongs to someone else], and idolater [someone whose affection is on something or someone other than God], a reviler [someone with a critical spirit], a drunkard [a person who is habitually drunk – by the way – it can include drunk on worldly things not just alcohol], or an extortioner [swindler].

Paul says we are not to keep company with, nor even eat a meal with, such people. He is talking about people who attend our churches who present themselves as Christians but are there for ulterior motives. He goes on to say not to judge those outside of the church for God will do that.

There are more texts that could be used but let’s see if the Berean believers will come out of the shadows of being shallow sheep who are led about in ignorance and do some searching of Scripture themselves.

Please stop with all of the “God is going to get cha” messages. “You do not know what manner of spirit you are of.”

I know, I know! You feel you are called by God to warn the world of how mad God is and that He is not going to take it anymore.

I am waiting for a real, valid explanation! I do know this for sure – there is a lot of money in peddling “potential” problems. To be fair, there is also tons of money to be made by peddling a gospel of grace where neither God nor godly leaders or godly people ever confront the messes the members make.

You know what I mean, “The can’t we all just get along and have fun crowd of Christians.” Read the entire New Testament again without a personal agenda and without preconceived ideas of what was happening and how the leaders handled what was happening. You will see how Christ, personally and through godly delegated authorities managed the membership and the messes they made.

I wonder how many of the present prognosticators of God’s punishment on America will publicly repent and refund immediately all of the money they made off of their putrid predictions of “potential” major problems that are supposed to be God’s wake up calls to us.

The chance of that happening is the same as hell freezing over. Or better yet, that Jesus will return before you finish reading this blog. If you finish this blog before He comes then the “imminent return” is not so imminent, is it! Oops, that is another theological train wreck that has wrecked havoc on the integrity of Christ and His people.

This reminds me of the global warming preachers who just keep changing their vocabulary and predictions. There is never repentance! “Well, it is warming now.” So when the warming stops and the cooling starts it is now called, “Climate change.” The climate has always been changing. Could it be that God is confused there too?

Or the “predictors” of fires and earthquakes in California and hurricanes on the Gulf and East Coasts of America!

For the sake of integrity I hope every one of them will man up and admit they really do not know what God is doing because they keep tying God’s activity in the earth to the bankrupt religious system [Judaism] and people group [unsaved Jewish people] who have yet to repent for their “hand” in the death of the Savior of the world.

  • Matthew 20:17-19 NASB – “As Jesus was about to go up to Jerusalem, He took the twelve disciples aside by themselves, and on the way He said to them, ‘Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem; and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn Him to death, and will hand Him over to the Gentiles to mock and scourge and crucify Him, and on the third day He will be raised up.'”
  • Acts 2:36-39 NKJV – “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, ‘Men and brethren, what shall we do?’ Then Peter said to them, ‘Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ [the One you are responsible for killing] for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. For the promise is to you [who are personally responsible] and to your children [on whom you said, “May His blood be upon us and our children”], and to all who are afar off [Jew and Gentile alike all over the world from that day forward], as many as the Lord our God will call.'”

But the Christians who point out the obvious are constantly called on to repent for being antisemitic. This keeps the ones who are really responsible from ever taking personal responsibility which means they never really or fully repent and can never really and fully be reconciled to the God they offended.

John 19:11 – “Jesus answered [Pilate], ‘You could have no power at all against Me unless it had been given you from above. Therefore the one [house of Israel per Peter in Acts 2:36] who delivered Me to you has the greater sin.'”

Who are the real Jews and who are the real Gentiles [heathens]?

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.” [Romans 2:28,29]

and

“But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, ‘In Isaac your seed shall be called.’ That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.” [Romans 9:6-8]

or

“He came to His own [the Jewish people], and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him [Jewish and non Jewish people], to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” [John 1:11-13]

and

“‘Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you [the Jewish nation] and given to a nation [born again saints] bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.’  Now when the chief priests and Pharisees [Jewish religious leaders] heard His parables, they perceived that He was speaking of them. But when they sought to lay hands on [kill] Him, they feared the multitudes, because they took Him for a prophet.” [Matthew 21:43-46]

and finally

“As many as desire to make a good showing in the flesh, these would compel you to be circumcised, only that they may not suffer persecution for the cross of Christ. For not even those who are circumcised keep the law, but they desire to have you circumcised that they may boast in your flesh. But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be upon them, and upon the Israel of God.” [Galatians 6:12-16]

People – Israel according to the flesh is NOT God’s prophetic time clock! They cannot be because they are NOT God’s people!

Are you aware that God never said, “I will bless those who bless Israel, and I will curse those who curse Israel?” What God said He said to Abram before he was converted to Abraham. “I will bless those who bless you [Abram], and I will curse those who curse you [Abram].” [Genesis 12:3]

Look at exactly what God said to Abram in verses 1-3:

“Now the Lord had said to Abram: ‘Get out of your country [heathen culture], from your [heathen] family and from your father’s house [the place of heathen authority], to a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.'”

Where in any of that do you find a natural people called Israel? And do you find that Abraham’s blessing was only for the Jewish people?

Abraham is the father of the faith [in Christ] and the faithful [those who are born again and are faithful to and in Christ].

Jesus cleared this up in John chapter 8 when He differentiated between those who were according to the flesh descendants of Abraham and those who were the spiritual descendants of Abraham. Go back and read that confrontation and see where the truth will take you!

Are you really good with God?

Have you met God’s Mediator?

Have you surrendered your life to God’s Son?

If not, why not? It isn’t too late!

I have included enough Scripture in this blog to help you find God and place your faith in God. Now it is your move!

Next, become like the Bereans in Acts 17, and start searching the Scripture yourself to make sure what someone tells you is true is really true. That way you will not be blind people being led into a ditch by blind leaders.

In conclusion, Jesus is not the Savior of the Jewish people. He is the Savior of all mankind, especially of those who believe [in Him] [1 Timothy 4:10].

Jesus did come as a Jewish Man but look at what Paul the apostle [a Jewish believer] says concerning Jesus’ Jewishness. “Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we have known Christ according to the flesh, yet now we know Him thus no longer.” [2 Corinthians 5:16]

When He comes again He will not come as a Jewish Man. He will come as the glorified Son of Man!

By the way, I hope you noticed that the 1st century’s most influential Jewish believers [Jesus, Peter, and Paul] placed the onus on the Jewish people. Are they antisemitic too? I pray often for the Jewish people to repent like they did in Acts 2. I pray first though that they will be confronted with God’s truth and have their hearts pierced so that they can repent, believe and be baptized in the name of the One they had crucified.

It is time we stopped the flesh and got into and remained in the Spirit!

Be Fed Or Dead

When I was growing up I did not like school. The only reason I went to class in high school was so that I could play football and baseball. I loved, and still do love to learn, but I hated school [going to class]. I felt like I was being forced to conform to a system that did not assist me in learning.

My mother was a very wise woman, and very intelligent. She was a gifted secretary and wordsmith. Her command of the English language was exceptional. Whenever I would use the excuse “the teacher does not know how to teach” or “the teacher did not teach the material” she would always respond with, “Don’t you have a textbook? Read the material! Teach yourself!”

That used to grate my nerves. How dare my mom put the responsibility to learn on me. I used to think she was so ignorant, so out of touch with reality. My mindset was, “They pay the teacher to teach.”

 

Now that I am a teacher

[a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ]

I see from “the other perspective.”

 

That same mindset is pervasive in most Christians. “They pay the preacher to do that.”

It is true, we do reap what we sow. Ouch!

Now, as a teacher I understand the wisdom my mother had. It is amazing how little most Christians know of the Bible. We live in a time when obtaining a Bible is so easy. Most Christians have multiple Bibles in different translations. With the advent and advancement of the internet a person can have access to most all of the translations of the Bible, concordances, Bible dictionaries, atlases, encyclopedias, lexicons and the list goes on and on.

In other words, we are without excuse for not reading and knowing the Bible.

John the beloved and longest living original disciple of Jesus Christ said this, “26 These things I have written to you concerning those who are trying to deceive you. 27 As for you, the anointing which you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need for anyone to teach you; but as His anointing teachesyou about all things, and is trueand is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, youabide in Him” [1 John 2:26,27].

John is not telling his readers that teachers are no longer necessary. He is telling them that the anointing [the presence of Jesus Christ within them] will let them know if what they are being taught is true. The key, according to John, is our abiding in Him. To abide in Him we must abide in His Word because He is the Word.

In Acts 17 we see an interesting story ~

10 “The brethren immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Berea, and when they arrived, they went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word [they were being taught] with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so.”

These Berean saints did not rely on the teachers [Paul and Silas] to tell them what was being taught was true. They examined the Scriptures [O/T Scriptures] for themselves to make sure what they were being taught “were so”.

Saint of God, read, study, meditate on, memorize and learn the Bible. Your very life depends on it. Don’t be like the “church in the wilderness” [Acts 7:38 KJV] that said to Moses, ““Speak tous yourself and we will listen; but let not God speak tous, or we will die” [Exodus 20:19].

If the only “Word” you get is what your “Moses” says God is saying then you will shrivel up and you may eventually die. Your spirit is longing for the Word of God. You will not die if God speaks directly to you. It will not kill you to invest quality time with God in His Word. But you may die if you don’t invest the time to feed on God [His Word and His presence].

Jesus quoted Moses out of Deuteronomy 8:3 – “Man shall not live on bread alone but by every word that PROCEEDS out of the mouth of God” [Matthew 4:4; Luke 4:4]. God is always speaking – He is called the Word of God. Jesus is the Word made flesh.

Saint, teachers are great assets to your spiritual development but they can never take the place of your personal communication with the Lord. You do not need an interpreter to communicate with God. Read the Bible and hear His voice. He has some really great things to say to you – Today!
