I just returned from working out at Anytime Fitness on St. Simons Island, GA. ATF SSI is a wonderful place to get in a really good and quick workout without all the trappings that are designed to distract you from what you are really there to do. The place is clean, very clean, and the owners and manager are courteous, professional, knowledgeable and sincerely interested in everyone who is a member there. At ATF SSI the focus is on the member, not their wallet. Don’t get me wrong, they really appreciate paying members.

Anyway, as I was driving home across the Causeway I heard the still small voice of my enemy say something profound to me. Yes, I hear the voice of the enemy. Jesus said His sheep hear His voice and will follow Him. He also said the voice of a stranger they [His people] will not follow. He did not say they would not hear the enemy’s voice just that they would not follow it.

Here is what the enemy said to me, “Kevin, you need to stop publishing these blogs because one day you will publish books and if you give all this revelation away for free no one will buy your books.”

Yes my friends, my enemy was trying to give me counsel. Now, I very quickly retorted back to him, “Why should I wait to uncover all the dastardly things you are up to? I will not wait to publish the revelation God is giving to me in order to possibly benefit monetarily. I do not serve Jesus for money. I serve Jesus because He died on a cross and rose again so that I could become all that He intends for me to become.”

Well that was that, at least for now. The Bible says he left Jesus for a more opportune time so I guess he will show up at some point in the future. Oh well – yawn!!!!!
